Remember, these are just a few ideas to spark your imagination – the sky's the limit!

Category Description
Natural Language Processing (NLP) Applications that automatically process a large amount of data (e.g., email, chats, news, audio, video, etc.) to analyze the intent or sentiment in the message, and respond in real time to human communication.
Recommendation System Applications that use data to help predict, narrow down, or predict what users are looking for.
Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) Applications that can improve the output of Large Language Models (LLMs) by cross-referencing external/authoritative knowledge sources.
Similarity Search A technique that finds similar content or data according to their vector representations.
Text-To-SQL/Text-To-Chart Techniques and tools that convert natural language queries into SQL queries or chart specifications, enabling users to interact with TiDB and visualize data through conversational interfaces.

WHAT TO SUBMIT

  • TiDB Cloud account email
  • Demo Video:
    • Articulate the problem your application solves and emphasize its value to users, while highlighting its innovative and distinctive features.
    • [Essential] Showcase the types of data your application stores in TiDB and highlight the benefits of using TiDB Serverless with Vector Search, such as scalability, query response times, cost-effectiveness, semantic search, and processing both traditional and AI workloads.
    • Keep the video concise (less than 4 min), and publicly accessible on YouTube. If your video is longer than 4 minutes, it will negatively impact your score.
  • Access to Your Working Application: Provide necessary details for judges to access your application, whether it's a test account or a website. Make sure the instructions are clear and straightforward. (New Project Only)
  • GitHub Link: Include a link to your application's code on GitHub. Your repository can be public or private. If it's private, please provide access in your testing instructions. Remember to include all necessary deployment files, documentation, and testing instructions to facilitate the testing of your application. In your documentation, we recommend including the software bill of materials or an architectural diagram that list all your software components (incl. Large Language Models (LLMs) used).
