Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.

5 years of experience with PyTorch or Jax or LLM (large language models).
Preferred qualifications:
- 10 years of experience managing cross-functional/team projects.
- Experience driving technical cross-functional AI/ML based projects at scale from research to production.
- Ability to design process improvements that are tailored to the needs of a specific projects.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $164,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the overall program plan for first-party and third-party related programs, including requirements gathering, risk assessment, and resource allocation.
- Work closely with researchers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define and prioritize features and capabilities across various workstreams.
- Track and manage the progress of development and deployment, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to keep them informed of the program's progress and to obtain their buy-in on key decisions.
